This client was founded 13 years ago and is a regular at PURE Life Experiences - the owner believes in utilising small explorer vessels in bringing families and friends on travels to the remote Amazon River of Peru, the Mekong River in Southeast Asia, the Galapogos Islands of Ecuador, and the pristine coastal waters of Eastern Indonesia.

With specially-curated experiences and an engaging 1:1 guest to guide ratio, our clients boutique expedition vessels offer personalised service, onboard their spacious private and entertaining spaces and on their tailor-made excursions. Venturing into unspoiled sanctuaries to witness the beauty of nature and wildlife, they sail to remote destinations with minimised human interaction, secluded from crowds.

The Role

Our incredible client is looking for an experienced and driven Social Media and Content Marketing Manager to manage their social media channels and write engaging digital content (Website, blogs, SEO articles, newsletter, web mobile systems, etc.)

The Person

We are looking for an excellent communicator, brand guardian, social media wizard and content editor who is able to plan, conceptualise and execute digital content strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer retention. 

As a strategic individual and creative storyteller, you will be responsible to develop quality and maintain consistency across media types and web platforms, with special attention given to driving increased traffic and brand visibility through blog articles, social media posts, videos, and newsletters.

Due to time restrictions, we would ideally like this person to be based in Singapore, or at a push APAC region. Unfortunately we are unable to accept applications from EU due to strict visa regulations and the time zone issue. 


  • Manage digital content strategies across all online platforms.
  • Create a yearly and update quarterly global content calendar together with Global Digital Manager and Global Marketing Director
  • Driving traffic and engagement that translates to sales and brand promotion.
  • Analyse and create reports on content traffic metrics and the effectiveness of e mail campaigns and social messaging.
  • Write a wide variety of content for multiple platforms (website, blogs, social media channels, newsletter, web and mobile systems, etc.)
  • Conceptualising and executing the content on social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to create a global content calendar.
  • Manage external freelance writers.
  • Create a social media calendar in conjunction with the global content calendar.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of social and influencer activity, using learnings to iterate your strategy where necessary.
  • Stay up to date on social media trends by conducting regular competitor analysis and keep up with latest social media initiatives.
  • Ensuring SEO compatibility of content with the right use of keywords.

Requirements and Skills

  • Experience in a strategic content and/or social media management role.
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience.
  • An editorial mind-set capable of creating branded content for our HNWI target audience and optimising the path to conversion.
  • Knowledge of social media metrics to track and measure success.
  • Genuinely excited by digital technologies.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems.
  • Travel enthusiast and experience in writing luxury travel topics.
  • Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO.
  • Good knowledge of search and social advertising, programmatic advertising and content conceptualisation and production.
  • Understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, Google AdWords.
  • Proven project and time management skills

The Small Print:

5500 - 6500 Singaporean Dollars per month salary (66,000 - 78,000 SD per year)

Ideally based in Singapore and native in written and spoken English 

9am - 6pm Monday to Friday

Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager
