To be clear, we're currently only accepting applications from people who:
- Have travelled to South America and have on the ground personal travel experiences in the region
- Have had a role as a copywriter before (any industry) or have their own copywriting examples they can share
- English is first language
Outside of this, we are flexible to where you are in the UK (applications outside of UK not accepted) and the role is also flexi-hours around the Mexico time zone vs UK overlap.
So here's the client details:
This owner led agency is not only a B-Corp, but they are an award-winning travel company that specializes in creating luxury, tailor-made itineraries as individual as their travellers. They currently operate in Mexico and Brazil and are a huge name in luxury travel. They want staff that believe in the inherent value of travel as a bridge to positively improve the quality of life of local communities and combat ignorance through bringing people together face-to-face to make a difference in how we see one another.
And the role overview:
To increase effective communication between our client and their clients, potential
clients and travel intermediaries; generating effective descriptions and content for the brand(s), resulting in an increase in business and an increase in awareness about our clients in the marketplace. You'll be working alongside 2 other copywriters in Mexico, and reporting into the Global Marketing Manager.
Day to Day:
Content Management: To upload relevant content into the company websites.
Community Management Support: To push high quality content out through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and other social media channels.
Website / E-marketing.
Building of supplier profiles. Develop accurate descriptions of suppliers and upload them to the proper software/carpet as per direction.
Assist in social media campaigns on Facebook.
Mailing: Support the Marketing team as per necessity.
Constant update of blogs.
In general copy and content writing for Marketing, Product & Suppliers.
Blogging: Responsible for stylish writing and frequently posting new content to the internet on topics relevant to the company or industry.
In person meetings 1x a month with Manager in UK to gain direction and insights, growth opportunities as we open new destinations and launch new websites and PR campaigns
