Senior Reservations Consultant - Indian Ocean and Caribbean

London (hybrid 3/2) £30K - £35K + commission (OTE £55K) Permanent

This family owned luxury Indian Ocean DMC (run by two awesome brothers) work on a b2b basis with some of the industries most exclusive travel outfits. They sell incredible experiences to travel companies around the world.


They work with celebrities, royalty, sports stars and high net worth individuals.....as well as tour operators from the UK and across the globe. The role

As a wholesaler and DMC specializing in the Indian Ocean and Caribbean regions, our client is seeking a candidate with proven experience in selling these destinations. Ideally, they're looking for expertise in both areas, but if only one, the Caribbean is preferred.


The day to day

Respond to client enquiries via phone and email, regarding availability, rates, and
booking policies.
● Guide clients through the Reservation process, providing recommendations and
assistance to help them make informed decisions.
● Input reservation details into the booking system accurately and efficiently, ensuring
all necessary information is captured.
● Identify opportunities to upsell additional services, such as room upgrades,
packages, and amenities, to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
● Accommodate special requests and preferences from guests, such as room
preferences, dietary restrictions, and special occasions, ensuring all requests are
noted and fulfilled.
● Offer information about the property, facilities, and local attractions to help guests
plan their stay and make the most of their visit.
● Assist and support clients with modifying or cancelling reservations as needed,
following established policies and procedures.
● Address guest concerns and complaints regarding reservations promptly and
professionally, aiming for swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
● Keep detailed records of reservations, enquiries, and interactions with guests,
ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
● Communicate effectively with sales, sales operations and other departments to
ensure seamless coordination of reservations and guest services.
● Answering any questions clients might have about the reservation process.
● Up-selling, where appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or
special packages, such as tour tickets, travel insurance, or upgraded
seats/accommodations.
● Support with generating new enquiries and following up with key Accounts to
increase booking numbers and revenue. 

The Package on offer:

£30K - £35K DOE + commission, OTE £55K (weekend work on a shift basis, roughly once every 3 months)

London (West) hybrid spilt 3/2
