This owner led agency is not only a B-Corp, but they are an award-winning travel company that specializes in creating luxury, tailor-made itineraries as individual as their travellers. They currently operate in Mexico, Costa Rica and Brazil and are a huge name in luxury travel. They want staff that believe in the inherent value of travel as a bridge to positively improve the quality of life of local communities and combat ignorance through bringing people together face-to-face to make a difference in how we see one another.
About the role overview:
The Global Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of brand management, communications, and marketing strategies that drive engagement, build brand identity, advance visibility, and increase revenue.
They will lead and coordinate the company-wide approach to growing our presence and client base in the market and will actively participate in the overall management of the company by serving on the senior management team.
To design a strategic marketing plan that includes trade, consumers, and other commercial partners.
To increase revenue and gross margin through the implementation of the strategic marketing plan.
To increase awareness about our clients destinations and other new destinations in the marketplace and create a consistent brand across product lines.
The wider team you'll be managing is made up of:
Marketing Coordinator
Copywriters (x 5)
Content Manager
Web Master (outsourced)
SEO/Web developer Team (Outsourced)
PR Team (Outsourced)
Branding Team (Outsourced)
The Day to Day Overview:
• Marketing Strategy
o Together with the Business Development team, create and manage an integrated marketing plan and budget with clear and measurable goals and objectives.
o To measure and monitor ROI from different marketing activities for different product lines. To grow leads in all segments of business with measurable ROI.
• Digital Marketing
o Content Creation & Management: To ensure the websites have current information and media and is optimized to generate qualified leads.
o Google Analytics & PPC: Tracking analysis and reporting, setting up conversions to measure how well Journey Mexico, Villa and Journey Costa Rica sites fulfill targeted objectives.
o SEO: To keep current on SEO best practices, implement best practices on the websites and increase visibility of websites in search engines through continuous optimization.
o E-Marketing strategy, implementation, and measurement of campaigns (social media, newsletters, and other e communications).
• Branding
o Luxury Market Targeting: Conduct in-depth market research to identify key trends in high- end travel and align branding efforts to attract ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
o Reputation Building in Key Markets. Highlight the brand’s track record of excellence throughcase studies, testimonials, and curated success stories that resonate with discerning travelers.
• Trade Marketing
o Participate selectively in high-end travel forums, trade shows, and private client eventswhere reputation and direct client trust-building are paramount.
o Content Creation & Management: To provide trade clients with marketing material (product:itineraries, photos, marketing copy) for their brochures, websites etc.o
